Barack Obama Presidential Seal Hype: The Obama Effect

:: Cast : Dr. Richard Benkin

Dr. Richard L. Benkin is an independent human rights activist from Chicago, USA, who first gained notoriety for his successful fight to free Bangladeshi journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury after 17 months of imprisonment and torture. Choudhury was arrested after writing articles about the rise of Islamic radicals, urging Bangladesh to recognize Israel, advocating for religious equality, and trying to visit Israel; and Benkin launched a one-man campaign to free him. Benkin is currently advocating for Bangladeshi Hindus refugees who have been victimized and plundered by Bangladesh, ignored by India, and betrayed by many of those who claim to support them. Earlier this year, he identified the plight of these Hindus as "ethnic cleansing" at a briefing of the United States Congress. He visited over a dozen refugee camps, observed porous borders, and met with numerous victims and organizations. He started organizing people and is committed to making the world aware of this genocide in the making and securing justice for its victims. He has also written about Bangladesh's Vested Property Act and the threats facing India from within and without.

Since 2006, Dr. Benkin also has been investigating and exposing the emerging South Asian threat stemming from the cooperation of Communists and Islamists. He has termed this the "Red-Green Alliance" and continues to speak about the atrocities and strategic advantages it already has carried out, as well as the very real threat it poses to us all.

Dr. Benkin is tied to no organization or political party and works extensively with the United States Congress and other authorities. He writes extensively and is currently working on a book about the ethnic cleansing of Bangladeshi Hindus and related matters. He is available for speaking engagements, seminars, and teaching.
